At Perspective Events, our journey in the world of decor rentals and event design began in the Okanagan over a decade ago. We were driven by a simple yet profound goal: to curate unique atmospheres and provide a one-of-a-kind design process for every event. 

Over the years, we've meticulously built and sourced an inventory of furniture and decor items, each carefully chosen to help our clients create distinctive and memorable experiences for their guests. 

But our journey has been about more than just decor and design. It's been about building a community. We've fostered incredible relationships not only with other vendors and businesses in the area but also with our competition. This has created a vibrant community of passionate individuals, all dedicated to elevating the event experience in our region.

Lauren Kraushar

The Visionary Behind the Scenes

Lauren's passion for event design began during her time working on large-scale events in Vancouver, shortly after completing college. The industry's challenges and thrills inspired her, leading her to establish Perspective Events in 2009. This venture was more than a business; it was a way for Lauren to stay connected to the event industry while balancing family life with three children.

Her keen eye for emerging trends and designs, and willingness to take risks in bringing in unique rentals, quickly positioned Perspective Events as a key player in the event’s industry in the Okanagan. Under her leadership, Perspective Events has grown exponentially, evolving from a small venture into a renowned design and rental powerhouse.

Lauren's approach goes beyond just curating beautiful spaces; she believes in the power of design to tell stories and create emotional connections. Her expertise in transforming spaces into immersive experiences has made her a sought-after designer for a wide range of events.

Tyler Kraushar

The Backbone of Operations

Tyler, Lauren's husband and co-founder, has been an integral part of Perspective Events from the start. Initially balancing his career with helping Lauren during weekends, his commitment to the venture led him to leave his job and dive into the business full-time. This pivotal decision marked a significant turning point for Perspective Events, allowing for greater expansion and innovation.

As the Delivery Manager and Custom Builder, Tyler’s meticulous attention to logistics ensures that every event is executed flawlessly, from the timely delivery of rentals to the precision of custom-built designs. His hands-on approach and problem-solving skills are invaluable in managing the complexities of event setups and breakdowns.

Tyler's role extends beyond operations; he is a creative force in his own right. His craftsmanship in custom builds brings a unique dimension to Perspective Events, allowing for truly personalised and one-of-a-kind event experiences. His ability to turn visions into tangible pieces complements Lauren's design expertise, making them a formidable team in the event industry.
